Nienstedten Cemetery extends between Rupertistraße and Elbchaussee. Opened in 1814, it preserves graves of local families, mausoleums and displays of older gravestones. Its 1927 chapel stands by the main entrance; the administration office is off-site on Nienstedtener Marktplatz.
